ENO Eclipse Lantern: Camping Fun
You guys know how much I love lighting right? I get excited about lights and lanterns. Well here is one that I’m over the moon about. The ENO Eclipse Lantern. This is the most fun lantern I’ve ever seen. This little guy will create some colorful ambiance at the campsite.
It kind of resembles a lava lamp, it has that shape to it. But there are more colors in the Eclipse than a regular lava lamp. It changes from blue to green to pink and purple. There are sparkly flecks that twinkle–it’s so cool!
Metal loops on the bottom allow you to invert it and hang it from a loop in your tent or out on a tree branch. You can make it glow white like a regular lantern (with three levels of brightness), but why on earth would you do that when you can have sparkly groovy lighting?
The lantern puts out up to 150 lumens and has up to 40 hours worth of burn time with three AAA batteries. A light gray button operates the plain white light, and a dark button is the one that brings the magic. The cone part is made of silicone and it is squishy and soft to the touch.
The ENO Eclipse Lantern is just too fun not to get for summer camping. When we are camping, I like to leave some lights on throughout the night, I use ENO’s Twilights and the Eclipse would be just as good for this purpose. It’s nice when you’re camping, with kids especially, to have a night light, but you don’t want something bright or abrasive. These are perfect for that (hotel rooms too). I think the Eclipse would make a very cool gift for campers as well. Find the fabulous ENO Eclipse Lantern HERE.
