Effective September 23, 2026. These terms are the agreement between you and Best Travel Gear for use of besttravelgear.com.

Using the site

Best Travel Gear is an editorial directory of travel gear. You may read it for your own use. Do not scrape it in a way that degrades the service, copy our gear list into another product, or present our pages as yours. Specs, prices, and availability change. Confirm details with the maker or the retailer before you buy.

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links are paid affiliate links, including Amazon Associates links that carry our tag. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. A commission does not change the price Amazon charges you. View product links go to the maker or another retailer and are not affiliate links unless the page says so. Labels such as “Editors’ shortlist” describe our research method. They are not scores, and they are not placements a brand paid us to publish.

No warranty on third-party products

We do not manufacture, sell, or warrant the packs, cubes, bottles, headphones, or other products named here. Gear picks summarize manufacturer specifications and desk research. They can be incomplete or out of date. Fit, airline rules, warranties, and safety are between you and the manufacturer or seller. We are not responsible for how a product performs, how a shipment arrives, or a listing that has changed since we logged it.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, Best Travel Gear is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for loss arising from your use of the site or from a product you buy through a link. Our total liability for a claim about the site is limited to fifty U.S. dollars. You do not pay us to read the site. Some places do not allow these limits. Where that is so, they apply only as far as the law allows.

Indiana law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Indiana are the venue for disputes arising out of these terms or the site.

If one provision cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the date above. Links to other sites are governed by those sites. How we handle information is in the privacy policy.
